World Heritage Missions – Cathedral of San Ignacio de Velasco – Bolivia

The Cathedral began to be built in 1748 with the impulse of Jesuit Missionaries and it was completed in 1761. In 1948 there was a fire but it was rebuilt between 1998 and 2001.
