Mariaville Goat Farm, this place was amazing.
We stayed at a yurt, the outhouse was near us and also an outside shower.
There was no electricity or internet reception, no wifi. The place is peaceful and comfortable.
The yurt had a murphy bed and a wood burning stove. Since Ben’s sleep is lighter than mine, he woke up 2 or 3 times during the night to add more wood.
To get to the yurt you have to walk a bit. Is not a bad walk, we had a bit of snow and mud on the floor that made the trip a bit more difficult.
Once we were all set, we were able to play with all the goats, 3 were always running around.
We were able to take the goats for a hike around the property.
I have done goat yoga before but I never been on a trampoline with goats, it was so much fun, they really did not care that I was jumping around them.
At night we order burgers. The owners left us a cooler with what me need. The same for breakfast they drop a basket in the morning outside the yurt.
