Kumbhalgarh fort – Udaipur, India

Kumbhalgarh fort is the second largest wall after the Great Wall of China , it was built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century.

The wall snakes for 36 kilometers (22 miles) over 13 hills. At most sections the wall is 15 feet wide, but broader stretches reach 49 feet.

Within the fort walls there are over 360 temples.

One of the Kumbhalgarh fort’s temple is Neelkanth Mahadem wich houses a 6 feet Shiva lingam that is made out of the solitary dark Kasoti stone. A linga or Shiva linga, is an abstract or aniconic representation of the Hindu deity Shiva in Shaivism.
