3 hours away I was able to visit Becan,
Becan- archaeological site of the Maya civilization in pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. Becan is located near the center of the Yucatán Peninsula, in the present-day Mexican state of Campeche.
The ruins were amazing, we only saw 3 more people during our time there.
The scale and the surrounding gave a mystical feel to the visit.
