Charcuterie – Unity, Maine
Matthew Secich used to work in Michelin starred restaurant. One day converted to the Amish faith, and, along with his family, opened a small charcuterie shop in Unity, Maine.
The shop was extremely cute, there are no lights or electronic devises, the owners ask to turn off cell phones. The payment is in cash or check.
I bought a smoked gouda, chorizo and mortadella. I have to say that it was delicious.
The hotel had a continental breakfast, but the mortadella was so good that we skipped the waffles and pastries so we could eat this.
We thought about coming back, but they close on Sunday.
A definitive must!!!
for Lunch …. Since we were in Maine…..
We stopped at a random restaurant near the ocean, lobster, fish and chips, lobster bisque and clam chowder
