WHO – Does the lack of oxygen affects learning in children?

The Who decided to make a study between the children of la Paz and Santa Cruz. The idea was to determine if the difference in altitude and the way the body transport oxygen affects learning abilities. In the photo I am been capacitated to use a Transcranial Doppler (it allows to measure the velocity of blood flow through the brain’s blood vessels) .

Pipeline (Gas) camp – Tarija, Bolivia

The camp was in the middle of the mountains. Life for the workers gets a lot easier by having animals like sheeps, pigs and cows, sometimes it’s impossible to get or leave the campsite.
This pipeline goes across the mountains to the border with Argentina. It took along time to finish since it goes into the mountains, the vegetation is very thick.
