On April 8 2024 I was able to witness a total eclipse in all its glory.
Ben and I went to Maine, we camped and waited for the event. I might have seen one before, but this is the only one that I am fully aware.
It was all that I spected, there was this very strange silence, the temperature dropped. It was such a great experience to been able to see it.
For this 3 day trip we had many items. I am not a fan of cold weather. Where we were staying was cold.
Ben did a great job, we had a heat running all the time in the tent.
There was a fire outside to stay warm as well.
Ben thrives in cold weather, he is very energized and ready for the next task.
On the other hand I am more of a spring person. On winter I hibernate.
Ben cooked a jambalaya, it was delicious. But it was not all him, I help to prep.
We went to an opening, where other people gathered too. It was so amazing to see the sky change colors in a matter of minutes.
