His greatest success here was his famous entrances to the\u00a0<a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Paris Metro\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Paris_Metro\">Paris <\/a>Metro, based on the ornamented structures of\u00a0<a title=\"Eug\u00e8ne Viollet-le-Duc\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eug%C3%A8ne_Viollet-le-Duc\">Viollet-le-Duc<\/a>\u00a0(French architect famous for been an important figure in the gothic revival style) .
