CLARKSBURG STATE PARK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Clarksburg State park is a 368 acres of abundant northern hardwood forest. It has views of the\u00a0Hoosac Range,\u00a0Mount Greylock\u00a0and the\u00a0Green Mountains.<\/p>\n The forest contains very old\u00a0 and tall trees, having a town so close it’s nice to see untouched areas.<\/p>\n The counground was very nice, it contained a small beach area that was very well kept.<\/p>\n MOUNT GREYLOCK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Mount Greylock at 3,491 feet is the highest point in Massachusetts.<\/p>\n Mount Greylock State Reservation\u00a0was created in 1898 as Massachusetts’ first public land for the purpose of forest preservation<\/p>\n The mountain has over 70 miles of designated trails for hiking, mountain biking, back-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, including an 11.5 mile section of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail<\/p>\n The Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower\u00a0 was designed by Boston-based architects\u00a0Maginnis & Walsh. The cost of the construction was\u00a0at a cost of $200,000.<\/p>\n In 1932 the light was at the time the strongest beacon in Massachusetts, with a nighttime visible range of up to 70 miles.<\/p>\n FRENCH KING BRIDGE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n On our way back we stopped at the french king bridge. While walking towards the center\u00a0 we could see many signs asking people no to jump.<\/p>\n The structure is a three-span “cantilever arch” bridge\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0that crosses the\u00a0Connecticut River\u00a0on the border between the towns of\u00a0Erving\u00a0and\u00a0Gill, Massachusetts, United States.<\/p>\n The bridge was opened to traffic on September 10, 1932.<\/p>\n It was named the “Most Beautiful Steel Bridge” of 1932 by the\u00a0American Institute of Steel Construction. The bridge was rebuilt in 1992, and refurbished in 2008\u20132010.<\/p>\n MASS MOCA<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The Massachusetts museum of contemporary art is a\u00a0museum\u00a0in a converted\u00a0Arnold Print Works\u00a0factory building complex located in\u00a0North Adams,\u00a0Massachusetts.
