This temple is dedicated to\u00a0Tirthankara<\/i>\u00a0Rishabhanatha.\u00a0The temple honors Adinath, the first Tirthankar of the present half-cycle (avasarpi\u1e47\u012b) according to Jain cosmology.<\/p>\n

This temple is famous for its intricate carvings and unique architecture,This temple is built in\u00a0M\u0101ru-Gurjara architecture, in this style the interiors are lavishly decorated, with elaborate carving on most surfaces.<\/p>\n

A distinctive feature is “flying” arch-like elements between pillars, touching the horizontal beam above in the centre, and elaborately carved.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The temple was constructed in white marble, spreading over 48,000 square feet, with 1444 marble pillars (no two pillars are the same), twenty-nine halls,\u00a0eighty domes and 426 columns.<\/p>\n

Temple has a total of 84 underground chambers\u00a0built to protect the Jain idols from the\u00a0Mughals.<\/p>\n

Kalpavriksha,\u00a0is a wish-fulfilling divine tree in\u00a0Hindu mythology,\u00a0Jainism\u00a0and\u00a0Buddhism.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Inside the temple there are elephants purifying\u00a0 Parshvanatha.<\/p>\n
