Most of the architecture in Udaipur is the\u00a0 Indo-Aryan\u00a0style, also known as\u00a0Rajput style, this is useuse in religious, secular and military constructions, characterized by carved pillars, decorated ceilings, painted walls and lush halls.<\/p>\n

The lake Palace situated over an island in Lake Pichola, was constructed to serve as a royal summer palace. Built of white marble, the palace is now a 5 Star hotel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Udaipur is a very charming city, specially the areas near Lake Pichola since is the most touristy part with the City Palace and the Jagdish Temple so close by.<\/p>\n

The city is full of small streets where cars, motorcycles, tuk tuks, people and animals\u00a0 move almost like they are dancing.<\/p>\n

To me the best time of the day is late night where the noise seems to disappear.<\/p>\n

I enjoyed my time here very much. From all the places that I visited in India I believe Udaipur it’s the “easiest” for a foreigner to assimilate to. Everything looks so picturesque, the narrow stone streets with cute shops. There are many restaurants that offer Indian, Chinese and Continental food and at the same time its feels nice no to see big food chains everywhere.<\/p>\n

Below is me enjoying my first bhang lassi, according to indian law, or how it was explain to me, eating the marijuana leaves it’s not illegal, but smoking marijuana it is, if its not part of a religious act. However, as a tourist this was constantly offer in all forms of consumption.<\/p>\n
