It contains most of the important artifacts (ceremonial vessels, necklaces and jewelry) found at\u00a0Huaca Rajada\u00a0by archeologist\u00a0Walter Alva\u00a0in 1987, including the\u00a0Lord of Sip\u00e1n\u00a0and his entourage. The museum was inaugurated in 2002.
