Built in the 1920s by Marblehead artist Waldo Ballard and his wife.<\/p>\n<p>n 1945 the Ballards sold the castle to\u00a0L. Francis Herreshoff, son of noted yacht designer\u00a0Nathanael Greene Herreshoff.
